September every year, the
fiesta time, the Santa Fe Pet Parade, though geared for children,
brings out the entire family, showing all their pets in amazing
costumes, and displays.
Winding through the streets around the main plaza, over 1200 children
marched their pets with pride and fun.
As the families and children enter the plaza off marcy street, they
pass the panel of judges who give out awards for themes such as best
'historical, musical, family, fiesta,etc.
